Heya!
A couple of years ago my friends gifted me with GW. I've played it thoroughly and really enjoyed it, and after a long hiatus I've decided to come back and complete my HoM with some newb friends.
But there's one thing that bothers me. I would like to have GW on my Steam account, is there a way to get it on Steam without having to buy a new copy of the games? Can you please help me with this issue?

I think you might be able to manually add it on Steam. I'm not too sure on it though but glad you have a GuildWars and Steam interest!

Yes, I can add it to Steam, but not to my account, meaning that it will only launch through Steam and use its in-game interface, but it won't register anything on my Steam account/profile.

Well, it seems like the only way is by purchasing a GW product on Steam, maybe I'll do it someday to get an alt.

You might want to ask Steam for help. It seems to be an internal problem.
